Extraction Method: Solvent extraction. Some flowers such as jasmine and rose are too delicate to heat so solvents are added to the raw material to extract the oil. A small trace of solvent may remain after this process so the result is not called an essential oil but an absolute. We only use solvent extraction where distillation would destroy the delicate aroma.
Contraindications: Avoid use during pregnancy.
