Main crop root vegetable, outdoor plot. Crisp, sweet flesh with a deep red uniform colour and free of rings. Used peeled and grated in salads to add a sweet flavour and great colour.

Directions
Sow from April to June, thinly in shallow drills 2cm (3/4”) deep with 30cm (12”) between rows. Thin seedlings to obtain an eventual spacing of 15cm (6”) between plants. Sow successionally at two weekly intervals for a continual harvest. Maturity July onwards.
