Culpeper beeswax is obtained from the honey combs of the honeybee Apis Mellifera. Refined from crude beeswax obtained from organic honey production.
Crude beeswax is obtained from organic honey producers from Germany / Austria / France and UK who are certified by one of the EU registered or admitted organisations. This means that no akarizides (pesticide) nor antibiotics are permitted and therefore the wax is free from residues.
The wax is cleaned and filtered by physical methods, without the use of peroxides.
Directions
For making a cream. Melt two teaspoons of beeswax granules over a bain marie or steamer and add 8 level teaspoons of melted
cocoa butter (melt in jar over steamer). Combine and add 100ml sweet almond oil. Remove from heat. Add 2-5 drops of your selected essential oil/s per 10ml cream. Cool in the fridge. Once blended, store for no longer than one month.
